چکیده
Introduction: Multinucleate cell angiohistiocytoma (MCAH) is a benign, yet exceedingly rare vascular and firbiohistiocytic proliferation. The lesions are typically asymptomatic commonly cosmetically displeasing to patients. 1 Previous reports have demonstrated success in treating MCAH with fractional ablative CO2 laser, argon pulsed dye KTP lasers. 3 scarcity of reported cases may suggest that the lesion misdiagnosed, we report this case highlight characteristic features successful treatment Neodymium YAG laser.
Case Presentation: A 64-year- old female presented our clinic 1- month history multiple erythematous violaceous on her bilateral hands. were asymptomatic, but for patient. Past medical family was noncontributory. Examination revealed several 2-6 mm well- circumscribed, erythematous, indurated smooth papules dorsal second web space left hand. Shave biopsy consistent MCAH. She initially treated topical steroids twice daily 2 weeks, no improvement. patient received treatments YAG, 4 weeks apart. This discontinued after sessions due dramatic visible improvements regards induration discoloration lesions.
Discussion: an extremely uncommon lesion, diagnosis made basis clinical examination, histopathologic immunohistochemical analysis lesions. illustrates offers unique consideration

Multinucleate cell angiohistiocytoma (MCAH) is a rare entity that takes the form of a benign dermatologic proliferation formed by small blood vessels and multinucleate mesenchymal cells. These lesions are probably underdiagnosed because of their similarity to other disorders, such as dermatofibroma, and because of their benign, asymptomatic nature. We report the case of a 35-year-old woman in t...
